Anti-Aging Medicine
The term Anti-Aging Medicine covers various treatments in the field of aesthetic medicine; most of these do not involve surgery. They include treatment with botulinum toxin and fillers as well as laser treatments, chemical peels (often with fruit acids) and treatment with radiofrequency waves (Thermage). Certain hormonal treatments may also be used in Anti-Ageing Medicine. However, the term "Anti-Aging" is now a little out-dated, and is gradually being replaced by expressions such as "Well-Aging", which are more appropriate for current treatment concepts.
Further information about botulinum toxin and fillers can be found here: Botulinum infos, Filler infos.
